TASTING NOTE

Deep ruby-garnet colour with a light violet shine.Touches of precious wood, bergamot, mint and cassis. Scents of black fruit such as blackberries, blueberries and black cherries. Rich bouquet of tastes. Juicy. Present acidity, delayed note of nougat. Long and animating finish. An authentic character wine between Bordeaux-type elegance and chilean spice.

Description

"A fresh wind is blowing in the Colchagua Valley, which already produces some of the best wines in Chile. (...) I have never tasted a wine like that of the Swiss Daniel Wiederkehr. He came to Chile in 2001 (...). Ten years later, he began producing Cabernet Sauvignon in the vineyard of his own winery, Viña Nahuel, which was planted in 1942. The old vines produce a delicious wine - with racy acidity and a lively range of aromas." (05/2016)
