Dark ruby-garnet, hints of purple, compact structure yet elegant. Dark and red berries, cherries. Walnut, shades of mints and cassis, stimulating, long finish. "This year the cabernet has lots of acidic energy along with nervy tannins that beg for a barbecue. Medium-bodied and generous in red fruit flavors. "A vertical wine. 94 points Patricio Tapia Chile, April 2019"

Description

The grapes for this EL PRIMERO originate from our small vineyard of merely 6 hectares, in Nancagua, the heart of the Colchagua Valley. Planted with over 80 year old, magnificent Cabernet Sauvignon vines. The ideal climate of dry summers with hot days and comfortably cool nights and its soils rich of minerals offer the best possibles conditions for the production of powerful wines of exceptional quality, supported by the sparkling clean waters from the nearby Andean Mountains.
