Description

CHAK stands for “together, jointly” in the language of the Mapuche Indians, Chile’s natives. CHAK my inspiration and goal: bringing together in harmony the Bordeaux-type elegance and the Chilean natural power. 2021 was a typical year for Chile’s wine production: hot days and comfortable nights, delightfully cooled by the fresh evening breeze from the nearby Pacific Ocean; bringing about perfectly matured, healthy grapes. The grapes of our MALBEC grow in a vineyard with 80 year old, self-rooted vines, in an area called“La Calvina” in the communtity of Nancagua, the heart of the Colchagua Valley. Its perfect climate and ideal terroir rich of minerals, allow me to produce this opulent wine with its full range of fragrancies.
